A cloned Rhodesian FAL shouldn't have that beat to shit paint job. Sure, the paint jobs were applied with boot socks and done sloppy in the field but I am referring to the paint jobs seen on surplus parts from Zimbabwe. The rifles were painted and repainted during the Bush War.

Generic SA R1 kit in good condition, with SA markings, I'd guess $350-450. There are a lot of variables in SA FAL's, so even "generic" is a large range. $325-375 for a generic Rhodesian kit. I believe Pat ( SLR5000 ) does custom markings. I haven't asked him if he'll do the whole set of markings yet.It was patented in Rhodesia in 1977 and in the US in 1980, and manufactured in small numbers for the Rhodesian military.
